Make Music Nashville, a day of collaborative music making for all ages, instruments, and genres, will occur on Wednesday June 21st, the longest day of the year. Every year Make Music Nashville brings people out of their homes and onto their streets, gardens, storefronts, public parks, farmers' markets, and downtown sidewalks to share the music they love—whether that's hip-hop, country, jazz, baroque, jam band, marching band, garage band, or big band.
With a host of concerts and Play-Along events occurring throughout the day, Make Music Nashville is searching for individuals to offer their time and energy volunteering for our organization. Make Music Day is free for the city of Nashville, so we rely heavily on volunteers to keep things running smoothly. We will need dedicated helpers to:
- Take photos
- Welcome attendees
- Answer questions
- Post signage
- Run sound
Belmont students are eligible for up to 8 hours of community service convocation credit but
will need to be available for a minimum of 3 hours.
