Who We Are
We are a partnership between the Glencliff Presbyterian Church, Nourish Food Bank, the Presbytery of Middle TN, and Iglesia Nueva Vida. Together as a community we coordinate and run the Nueva Vida Food Project providing food and basic essentials to our Nashville neighbors in need.
What We Do
The Nueva Vida Food Project mission is to serve all who come to our door. We distribute groceries and basic essential items. Our clients represent the beautiful diversity of Nashville and many we assist are new immigrants and non-English speakers. We provide them with food, resource lists to help them obtain the services they need and a sense of community. We have 2 food serves per week and 2 delivery shifts. Our volunteers are key to making our mission a success! We have a special need for bilingual vounteers to serve as greeters. We also offer English classes to our food bank clients on Wednesday evenings and have openings for volunteer tutors.
