We are a collection of recreation-based programs and activities designed to serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disABILITIES & their caregivers through ability appropriate and inclusive programs.
It is the mission of the Metro Parks disABILITIES Programs to provide every citizen of Nashville and Davidson County with Intellectual and Developmental disABILITIES with an equal opportunity for safe recreational and cultural activities through a variety of age and ability appropriate programs and activities that highlight the ABILITIES of all participants.
What We Do
The Metro Parks disABILITIES Programs provides a variety of recreation-based programs designed for individuals with intellectual and developmental disABILITIES. Activities include Sports Leagues (Bowling, Flag Football, Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, & Bocce), Visual & Performing Arts, Outdoor Recreational Activities, Day Programs, and more.
