Williamson County Fair

We are a 9 day event that begins the 1st Friday in August each year. Our mission is to provide a family friendly fair, promoting agriculture, bringing communities together and celebrating the traditions of Williamson County. Our vision is to be an agricultural focused fair, united by community, providing education, excellence and entertainment.

In the beginning, a small group of individuals met to discuss the agri-tourism trend sweeping the country and how the Williamson County Ag Expo Park and the UT Extension Service could partner to capture that enthusiasm in our county. Thus the idea to bring back a traditional county fair was born and we held the new Williamson County Fair in 2005. Each year the Williamson County Fair has grown, and has captured the attention of state and national associations. The Tennessee Association of Fairs (TAF) and the International Association of Fairs & Expos (IAFE) has honored our fair with various awards and recognitions through the years. Our most exciting accomplishments were received in January, 2014 at the annual TAF Convention where we were awarded the AAA Division State Champion Fair for our 2013 fair, and at the TAF Convention in January, 2015 were we received the AAA Division Premier Fair for our 2014 fair. In January, 2023 our fair was selected as the 1st runner-up in the AAA Division Merit Award Competition. The Fair Board has partnered with numerous volunteers, community organizations, businesses and sponsors to ensure each year built upon the success of the prior year. These partnerships have resulted in us being able to continue to provide a safe, educational and fun community event for our visitors of all ages to enjoy! We are excited to celebrate year 18, as we continue to celebrate our county's agricultural heritage, our community, and the memories of the families who have joined us as they began generational traditions of their own.
