Who We Are
Outdoor Murfreesboro is the environmental education, natural resource conservation, and adventure recreation branch of the Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department.
What We Do
We manage and protect Murfreesboro's natural areas within the city's parks and recreation system. Our volunteer opportunities include but are not limited to litter pickup, invasive plant removal, native plant nursery and arboretum care, special projects and events, habitat restoration, native garden maintenance, trail assessment and maintenance, community gardening and citizen science projects.
