Who We Are

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization working to promote healing of human trafficking survivors and strategically confront slavery in our state. Our vision is to create a slave-free Tennessee. We work throughout the middle section of TN to help restore survivors of human trafficking.

What We Do

AncoraTN (Formerly End Slavery Tennessee) is the single point of contact in middle Tennessee for every type of human trafficking and both adult and minor victims.

We work through the T.A.A.P. method: Training, Aftercare, Advocacy, and Prevention:

  • We provide training and education for the general population as well as profession specific training within industries that are particularly affected by human trafficking.
  • Long term, comprehensive, and individualized aftercare is available for as long as a survivor wants it.
  • We do advocacy within our local, state, and federal court systems, to change the laws and systems that allow human trafficking to continue.
  • "Prevention" of child trafficking is another primary goal, consisting of low and high risk youth education, as well as our Johns School curriculum, "Decreasing the Demand."
