Tennesseans for Alternatives to the Death Penalty

We work toward fulfilling our mission through education, grassroots organizing, and advocating a change in public policy. TADP conducts rallies and vigils, educational forums, speaks across the state, and encourages editorial and letter writing campaigns through local media. Additionally, TADP holds annual events, such as Justice Day on the Hill, where constituents speak directly to Tennessee legislators about this broken system.

Tennesseans for Alternatives to the Death Penalty seeks to honor life by abolishing Tennessee's death penalty as we urge the state not to take a human life in our name. TADP has over 5,000 supporters and several chapters across the state including chapters in Memphis, Nashville, and Knoxville.
