OurCEL Solutions/Blood Assurance

Founded in 1972, Blood Assurance operates non-profit, community blood centers and mobile units serving hospitals in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, and North Carolina. Blood Assurance is licensed by the Tennessee Department of Public Health, the Georgia Department of Human Resources and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

OurCEL Solutions, the cellular therapy and research department of Blood Assurance, is dedicated to providing access to cell therapy treatment and research participation to community members to ensure representation of all our community members in research studies.

Our mission is to provide a safe and adequate supply of blood and blood components, in a cost effective manner, to every area patient in need. All blood and blood components collected stay local and are used by area hospitals. We are also involved in multiple cellular therapy research projects, aimed at finding cures for cancer and autoimmune diseases.
