Dismas House on Music Row provides transitional housing for ex-offenders as they reintegrate into society. The community model at Dismas creates relaxed social engagement between ex-offenders and community members who cook and serve dinner on weeknights.
Become an integral part of the evening program at Dismas by serving at least two evenings a month (Monday through Thursday from 5:15 pm until 7:15 pm) as a Volunteer Ambassador.
- Welcome Community Dinner volunteers
- Provide information about Dismas House
- Lead the household traditions before the meal
- Join in fellowship during the meal
- Thank our volunteers!
Volunteer Ambassadors are key participants in our evening program through their repeat engagement with our residents and volunteers, and there is no cooking involved!
