Description

Dear Potential Volunteer,

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, you are strongly encouraged to volunteer virtually rather than in person. In fact, many in-person volunteer opportunities have been cancelled in response to concerns over the virus. If you are considering volunteering for this Need, even though it’s not advised at this time, please be sure and contact the agency directly before signing up to make sure that the opportunity is still scheduled, and follow all of the CDC’s Guidelines to protect yourself and others.

For information about Virtual Volunteering, please check out http://getconnected.belmont.edu/virtual-volunteer-opportunities/

Stay safe and well!

Are you interested in helping us fight the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Middle Tennessee? Looking for an agency to volunteer at long term? Want more information about what we do and our programs? Attend our Volunteer Orientation!

Our orientation is designed for you to learn everything we do here at CARES: who we serve, why we do it and what you can do to help! We’ll have 3 speakers, one who will discuss CARES history and services, one who will give an overview of HIV (what it is, how to transmit it, how to prevent it, how to treat it) and I will discuss volunteer opportunities and roles. This is also an opportunity to welcome you to the CARES family!
