This training is for volunteers interested in becoming volunteers with the guardianship program.
The training will be held at our Metro Center office at 220 Athens Way, Suite 200, Nashville, TN 37228.
After you have attended the training, we would schedule a time one on one with you to meet your assigned client.
What you are committing to:
- Attendance of initial 2 hours training and one placement visit with Susan to meet your client
- Two visits to your client each month – you can stay as short or long as you want to and schedule on your own terms (within nursing home visiting hours)
- One year (or longer) commitment as a volunteer with the program, so the client has a chance to build a relationship with you.
- Submit monthly volunteer hours and report form for your visit with the client
