Volunteer: Honey Do

Help us work on our Honey Do List around the park. Together we will work on seasonal tasks that will beautify the park, such as picking up litter and maintaining trails and gardens.
 
As we will be outside, volunteers should wear closed toed footwear and dress for all elements. Prepare for sun exposure and bugs (sunscreen and bug spray provided). Snacks, beverages, and portable toilets are available onsite. And finally, feel free to bring your own water bottle to cut down on plastic waste! 
 
The goal of Friends of Mill Ridge is to enhance and advocate for Mill Ridge Park to strengthen the community in southeast Nashville & Davidson County.

Volunteer: Farm Friends at Mill Ridge Park

Join us each week to work on a variety of farm related seasonal tasks at Mill Ridge Park to include:  
 Planting, weeding, and mulching of the community orchard, gardens, and pumpkin patchPark beautification, farmhouse repairs, etc. Accessing gardens may entail walking in tall grass. Dress for appropriate weather conditions and uneven brushy terrain. Gloves, equipment, and refreshments will be provided onsite.    
Mill Ridge Park is a 622+ acre regional park, centrally located in the fast-growing and diverse community of Southeast Davidson County. Friends of Mill Ridge Park enhances and advocates for Mill Ridge Park to strengthen the community in Southeast Davidson County. Friends of Mill Ridge Park hosts and facilitates community driven education, recreation, and conservation focused volunteer opportunities, as well as programmed activities that include seasonal guided hikes, kite fests, pumpkin patch parties, and night sky viewing parties.
