Looking to help hospice patients without the drive? Join our team of administrative volunteers by working in-office at our Nashville location. Help fulfill office duties by taking part in office projects, copying and filing paperwork, calling home patients to check their supplies and medications are up to date, clean, and join staff lunches and office parties!

Many hospice patients live at home without 24/7 caregiving. You can offer them relief by making sure their supplies and medications are fulfilled, so they will not go the weekend without them.

Our staff spends a great amount of time working in-office to keep files and patient visits on par. An extra set of hands to clean, file, and work on office projects like decorating, arts-and-crafts, and organizing allows our team less stress, so we can focus more on the patient and families who need us!

Visit patients in the community and read a book, play games, listen and talk about their day, sing, deliver flowers, run errands, there are so many opportunities! Volunteering to visit hospice patients allows the patient to have a friend outside of their family. You can offer them support, companionship, socialization, and family relief.

Many hospice patients live without seeing their family often. Someone may have a family that lives out of state or are disabled and do not have the transportation to see their family member. Visiting these patients gives them comfort and happiness that someone is there to talk and spend time with them when no one else can.

Several other patients live at home with a full-time caregiver, but many caregivers and family members do not want to leave the patient by themselves at home to run errands. Seeing a patient when the family member is close allows the caregiver to leave the home without any stress. Of course, it also makes the patient happy to have someone new to come see them and retell their stories, play games, or read. You can also run errands for caregivers that want to stay home with their loved one!
