Tutors can choose to be an online-only volunteer or a hybrid volunteer. Online-only volunteers will meet a learner online via Zoom. Individuals who are eager for more can become an animal care technician. This requires training and commitment to be able to care for and handle animals. Volunteer: MentorOne by One is looking for women to volunteer to serve as mentors to pregnant and new moms. We provide all of your training at no cost. We match you to one mom. You will talk/text with your mom weekly and meet with her monthly throughout her pregnancy and until her child turns one. We provide you with the curriculum to discuss at each meeting at no cost. Our curriculum covers baby health, wellness, development, and safety and includes activities moms can do with their babies to promote bonding and development so that their children will be kindergarten-ready when the time comes.
