Volunteer: House RalliesWe will be hosting four House Rallies this year. The goal of our House Rallies are for our students to experience the extracurricular activities that they can enjoy in their college experience. Themes for each Rally are below: Quarter 1 (Aug 5 – Oct 3) → Friday, September 26, 2025 – Introduction to Colleges and UniversitiesQuarter 2 (Oct 6 – Dec 19) → Friday, November 21, 2025 – Sports Teams and MascotQuarter 3 (Jan 7 – March 6) → Friday, February 27, 2026 (1:30-3pm) – Homecoming: Greek OrganizationsWe would like to invite members of Greek organizations from various colleges, universities and community partners to come and share with our Kindergarten - 5th grade students about their organization. This will take place from 1:00pm to 2:30pm in the classrooms. We would also like to invite volunteers from the Greek organizations to participate in our Churchwell Greek Step show from 1:30pm to 2:30pm. Volunteer: Lunch BuddiesLunch buddies are mentors who come eat lunch and spend time once a week with one of our scholars during their lunch periods on Monday - Friday. You will visit with your “Buddy” during lunch and read, do crafts, play games, and ultimately form a positive relationship. Consistency, positivity, and fun are what make a great lunch buddy! This is a weekly or biweekly commitment. You can come ANY day of the week, as long as it’s during your Buddy’s assigned lunch period.
