Volunteer: Read Across America Week Classroom Readers @ Cumberland Elementary

Cumberland Elementary invites volunteers to celebrate Dr. Seuss Read Across America Week by serving as classroom readers on Thursday, March 5th from 8:30am-10:30am! Readers are asked to read for a 30-minute session with their preferred grade level (Kindergarten-5th grade). You may bring your own book or choose from the school's collection.

Volunteer: Popping into Positive Behavior Volunteers @ Cumberland Elementary

Cumberland’s Popping into Positive Behavior PBIS initiative takes place biweekly in our Community Room and celebrates our Kindergarten–5th grade scholars who consistently demonstrate positive behavior in their classrooms, Related Arts, and during lunch. As a reward for making positive choices, eligible scholars receive popcorn every other Friday during lunchtime. To help make this experience possible, we are seeking volunteers to assist with popping popcorn from 8:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in preparation for student lunches.

Volunteer Roles:

Pop popcorn in our Community RoomPlace each teacher's popcorn in their individual bucketHelp with delivering buckets to classroomsClean the popcorn machine

Volunteer Dates: 2/13, 3/20, 4/3, 4/17, 5/1, 5/15

Your support helps us recognize and reinforce positive behavior while spreading joy across our campus!
