On June 28th and 29th, Pawster will host a table at the Nashville Pride Festival. This event is a chance to spread awareness about Pawster's mission and build community. This is a great way to do good while enjoy all the festivities of Pride. We need your help to staff the tables!
Volunteers will sign up for 3 - 4 hour shifts during the following time periods:
- June 28th: 11:00am - 9:00pm
- June 29th: 11:00am - 7:00pm
Volunteers must register by June 25th to confirm their spot.
A great volunteer will:
- Shower love on all our friends at Pride.
- Listen to good music and enjoy delicious food.
- Talk to people who come to the Pawster table.
- Smile!
We'll provide everything you need and make sure you are fully prepared to talk about Pawster's mission: Pawster's mission is to support people in crisis by providing compassionate, temporary care for their pets. A crisis might be hospitalization, loss of housing, domestic violence, addiction treatment, natural disaster, or any other situation that leaves a pet owner temporarily unable to care for their pet. When a pet owner is in crisis, Pawster houses their dog or cat in a loving foster home until the owner is ready to be reunited.
