We are searching for volunteers to assist our staff at the Metro Parks disABILITIES Friday Basketball Leagues. We will have staff onsite to lead activities, assist with athletes & volunteers, and answer any questions.
Volunteer Needs & Responsibilities:
- Court Manager/Score Keeper
- Help set-up courts
- Keep Score
- Electronic Scoreboard Used
- We will teach you how to score
- Help clean-up courts
- Coaches
- Will work alongside MPDP Staff (No Experience needed)
- Help run skills & drills
- Assist with Coaching in Games
- Will work alongside MPDP Staff (No Experience needed)
Daily Schedule below:
- 9:30 - Volunteers Arrive & Assist w/ Set-up
- 10:00 - Skills & Drills as a group
- 10:50 - Game 1 begins
- 11:20 - Game 2 begins
- 12:00 - Game 3 ends - Clean-up
