Metro Parks Visual Arts in cooperation with Creative Parks Nashville & the Metro Parks disABILITIES Programs present a 6-week art class teaching participants different art techniques & engage in creativity. Artitsts will experience carving designes for the printing press, printing onto fabric, layering colors with ink & watercolors, and much more.
Volunteers are needed to help the instructor (Mar Augelli) set-up & clean-up for the class as well as assist participants during the creation process with skills they may have difficulty with.
Mar Augelli is an experienced artist specializing in painting & printmaking. She has taught classes throughout Nashville, including students with varying abilities for decades.
