The P.E.N. Pals (People Exploring Nature) summer camp program brings youth from Metro Parks Community Centers to the Warner Parks for a full day of nature exploration and outdoor adventure! Youth follow their curiosity as they explore the meadow, pond, and garden ecosystems, hike through the forest, observe wildlife, kayak, learn outdoor skills, search for crawdads in the Little Harpeth River, and create lasting memories in nature.
*VOLUNTEERING WITH THE PROGRAM REQUIRES A BACKGROUND CHECK CONDUCTED BY METRO*
We will need helping hands for morning exploration at the Nature Center, Lodge lunch prep and serve, and afternoon river activities during our PEN Pals camp days.
If you are interested in helping out, please email caroline.crews@nashville.gov and indicate which day(s) and time(s) you are available.
