What will volunteers be doing at this event?
We will remove litter and recyclables around Little Creek and the Little Creek Community Club in Whites Creek, TN.
What to bring and what to wear?
Please make sure to wear suitable clothing for working outdoors, such as gloves, boots, hats, long pants, and long-sleeved shirts. It is essential to wear sturdy closed-toed shoes, and under no circumstances should you wear sandals or flip-flops, regardless of the weather.
Additionally, please remember to bring your water bottle and sunscreen. TEC will provide the necessary tools, including, trash bags, litter grabbers, extra gloves, and refillable water.
Accessibility:
This event will include walking on the streambank and the road while carrying litter grabbers and trash bags. Rustic bathrooms at the Little Creek Community Club will be open during this event.
