We invite you to join the Tennessee Environmental Council (TEC) and Ravenwood High School garden club, as well as students and teachers, in planting native bare-root trees near the parking lot watershed area to control erosion and foster biodiversity on the school campus.
You will be engaged in the following activities : planting bare-root trees and picking up litter.
TEC will provide all the necessary tools, gloves, and water in a large jug. Please bring your refillable water bottle and dress for the garden (closed-toed shoes, long sleeve shirt, and long pants).
Important: While TEC volunteer events occur at the school, they are organized independently of the school. Please note that TEC volunteers are not permitted to enter the school while on campus for the TEC volunteer events.
Contact our our Pollinator Program Leader Monika G Pretz; monika@tectn.org if you have any questions.
