What: Help TEC stabilize a section of the bank on Lytle Creek.
Where: 2432 Red Mile Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37127. Parking will be available in the field or on the street. Please do not block driveways or intersections. We will stand near the road and direct you to the creek.
When: This event will occur on Friday, July 26, 2024, beginning at 9:00 am and ending around 12:00 pm.
Why: Curtail stream bank erosion by installing bioengineering solutions on eroded banks to prevent erosion (the most significant source for sediment pollution) and to rebuild the habitat for fish and aquatic life.
What to bring: Please be sure to bring a refillable water bottle, a snack/lunch, and a desire to make a positive environmental impact. TEC will provide all necessary tools, sunscreen, and bug spray.
