We invite you to join Tennessee Environmental Council (TEC) in maintaining our pollinator habitat at Hillsboro High School! We will be weeding the pollinator garden in front of the school, which is getting overrun with invasive Bermuda grass. By participating in this event, you will not only contribute to the preservation of our local ecosystem but also get a chance to learn about native plants and pollinators.
TEC will provide all the necessary tools, gloves, and water in a large jug. Please bring your refillable water bottle and dress for the garden (closed-toe shoes, a long-sleeved shirt, and long pants).
The garden is located in front of the school, facing Hillsboro Road.
