The Embrace Special Needs Ministry hosts respite events for families impacted by disabilities once a month at Brentwood Baptist Church.
Volunteers for our August respite will be 1:1 with a child impacted by disability or their sibling (ages 3 - 11). At this respite we will enjoy water slide, dance party, snacks, and movie time. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you are okay in getting wet, even if you don't join in the water you might get splashed. We will provide breakfast and a short training session directly before the event.
Volunteers for this event must have a background check on file with Brentwood Baptist Church and let the site supervisor know of your attendance. Please reach out if you are interested in attending, and we will be happy to help you through the volunteer intake process.
