March 21st is recognized as World Down Syndrome Awareness Day (3.21), a day we celebrate everyone with a third copy of the 21st chromosome, or as we like to say, that "something extra.". 3.21 is celebrated across the world in many different ways. DSAMT will celebrate all of those with something extra at our annual World Down Syndrome Awareness Day Celebration on March 22, 2025 at Pope Saint John Paul II Preparatory School (117 Caldwell Dr, Hendersonville, TN 37075)
Volunteers needed to assist from 12:00pm - 5:00pm.
12p - 2p we will be setting up and decorating.
2p - 4p Families will be present at which time we will need assistance with different activity tables to include a photo booth, bean bag toss, craft table, a spinning wheel for prizes, and picking up and cleaning up after participants.
4p to 5p we will be cleaning up and ensuring everything is back in its place.
