Hello! I'm Jason Ganley, an Art Teacher at Glencliff High
School in Nashville! The Principal asked me to build a Ceramics Program at
Glencliff this year. We had 18 kids in a pilot class that has now turned into
requests for 3 full classes next year! All of the equipment and items have
been shipped to us, but it's time to unpack everything and set up the
studio... not to mention re-organizing years' worth of former teacher’s random
items. From pulling out furniture to setting up the classroom, from organizing
glazes to labeling tools & sample projects, and building storage
solutions to assembling equipment, any help will help!!!! Good music and
light-snacks provided!!! |
8:00 a.m. Arrival at Glencliff High School / 8:00 to 12:00 Noon Organize Art Classroom / anyone wanting to stay longer (e.g. until 2:30 pm or later, we can go in on lunch or uber eats, etc.) |
Eat a good breakfast at home and bring a coffee!!! We will meet at the front of the school at 8:00 a.m. Call or text Jason Ganley at 615-815-7288 if arriving at a later time, etc. Wear clothes that can get dirty, and sneakers (no opened-toed sandals). Gloves if you'd like for some tasks. Water and snacks will be provided. Requesting adults only, but if you need an exception, call me. |
