Fourth Grade Erosion Science Experiment @ Glenview Elementary

Description

We need volunteers to help with setting up stations for a fourth-grade erosion experiment. Students will be testing different materials such as sand, rocks, and filters to see how they help stop or slow erosion. We would also like volunteers to support and monitor students during the project as they will be utilizing a variety of materials to test their hypotheses. Finally, we can utilize volunteers to help clean up from the experiment when it is complete.

8:00- Volunteers arrive and help set up student stations
8:20- Students begin experiment, volunteers help monitor and assist students
9:20- Experiment completes, volunteers help clean up
9:45- Volunteers leave

Volunteers can park in the front lot of the school and will come to the front door to sign in. You may want to arrive a few minutes early, because all volunteers will have to sign in and have their ID scanned prior to entry.
