Can you believe school starts in just 8 days?
Per H.G. Hill tradition, we would love to invite our partners to come and help us welcome all of our students back to school Tuesday morning next week, everyone's first day back.
Being a part of the welcome team means cheering for students as they get off the bus, being a smiling face as they enter the building, and helping new students (6th graders and transfer students) find their classrooms and know where to go! Middle schoolers are full of emotions on the first day, and we want to be sure H.G. Hill is a welcoming place for everyone and that no one feels lost on Day 1.
If you (or a group from your organization) are able to support this initiative, your attendance will be needed from 8:15-9:15am on Tuesday, August 11th. Upon arrival, all volunteers will give their ID to the front desk staff so that they can use the Raptor Rapid Background Check system, then I will help assign people to different spots in front of the school and in the lobby to support as students arrive as early as 8:30am.
