Nashville Public Library’s Collections and Technology Division is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic NECAT TV Production Intern to join our Nashville Education, Community, and Arts Television (NECAT) team. This hands‑on internship offers real studio experience, creative collaboration, and the chance to work closely with both internal and external producers. Applicants must be current college students eager to build real‑world production skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist producers during studio productions
• Learn and operate professional television production equipment
• Gain experience with broadcast automation tools like Cablecast
• Organize studio documentation and customer data using ZOHO CRM
• Contribute ideas in production meetings
• Support general studio operations, including equipment setup, teardown, and maintenance
Preferred Qualifications
• Coursework or experience in videography, editing, animation, photography, or audio production
• Familiarity with production equipment or a willingness to learn
• Basic understanding of broadcast automation systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ZOHO CRM experience is a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced studio environment
