The American Cancer Society’s Men Wear Pink 6th Annual Fit Crawl 2 Fight Breast Cancer will be taking place this October to raise awareness in the fight against a disease that remains one of the most pervasive health challenges, impacting millions of lives annually. Funds raised through this fitness initiative support lifesaving programs, including groundbreaking research and essential patient services.
The annual Fit Crawl 2 Fight Breast Cancer, launched in 2020, is an opportunity to help build a community around survivors support through the fitness studios, as well as an opportunity to try to stay healthy, both physically & emotionally via exercise, as higher levels of physical activity are linked to lower risk of cancer and other diseases while also being linked to healing.
Through this month long crawl to over 50 fitness & wellness studios, we help raise awareness and funds in the fight against breast cancer through the American Cancer Society via their intensive cancer research, patient support as well as education and awareness where over a quarter million women are diagnosed with breast cancer and over 40 thousand die from it in the U.S., while 1 in 8 women are expected to develop breast cancer in their lifetime! Thanks to more awareness and donations towards cancer research, the death rate has gone down 42% over the last 2 decades!
Workouts are of varying styles, including yoga, cycling, Pilates, boxing, barre, HIIT, strength conditioning, cardio, ballet....
