Habitat for Humanity – Interfaith Building Opportunity
Thursday, Oct. 17th
The Rev. Charlie Curb Center at Belmont University is sponsoring an interfaith building opportunity as a part of our work with Spiritus, a Jewish-Christian dialogue group that I host each Wednesday morning on Zoom. On Thursday, Oct. 17th, we will gather to work side by side on a new home. Volunteers are needed for construction. Habitat for Humanity of Nashville requires registration for all of those planning to work on site.
If you would like to volunteer to work with our group, in addition to responding on Get Connected, please use the link to confirm your volunteer spot. We are allowed 20 volunteers for the day.

Here are some details for next Thursday:
Volunteer Parking: 3447 Brick Church Pike, Nashville, TN 37207 (behind the Bass Street Missionary Baptist Church)
Please arrive at the parking lot around 7:15 AM so that you may walk to the build site, check-in, and eat breakfast. Our safety briefing will begin promptly at 7:30 AM. Click here for a map of the parking area and build site. Our safety briefing will begin promptly at 7:30am. Lunch is around 11:30am. The day typically ends at 3:30pm or when the build tasks are complete, and the site is cleaned up.
We build rain or shine, so come prepared. That said, should we need to cancel due to unsafe conditions, we will communicate through email. Whether this is your first time building with us or you are a veteran, we ask that you build “the Habitat way,” which may be different from what you are accustomed to. But rest assured that our construction staff and Supervisors on Site will be there to guide the way.
