FiftyForward is hosting a special event for older adults who live in the Antioch community and we are seeking an entertainer/entertainers to perform familiar sing-along tunes for approximately 30 minutes beginning at 11 am. Ideally the performer(s) will also be available to perform instrumental music from 9 until 10; will receive a break (but still get volunteer hour credit) from 10 - 11. Ideally, the performer(s) will be available to play instrumental music again from 11:30 - 12 while our guests enjoy lunch.
This is a wonderful opportunity for an individual or small group who is able to play traditional favorites to bring joy to older adults.
In order to be considered for this position, the volunteer/s must first have a conversation with the event coordinator Lauren Maynor and a link to a YouTube channel or other sample of music would be beneficial.
