If you are interested in volunteering with Senior Ride Nashville please sign up to attend this Orientation and Training Session to get you ready to provide rides to older adults without transportation who need to get to necessary appointments.
Providing a ride and a helping hand is a meaningful way to help our older neighbors stay connected to the Nashville community. We're looking for caring, reliable volunteer drivers to provide transportation to medical appointments, grocery stores, barber and beauty shops, pharmacies, community centers and other destinations. Join people from across the county to create rides and relationships with Nashville seniors. Give a few hours and make a difference - we need your help and so do our seniors.
Eligible volunteers will:

have access to a vehicle to transport seniors to their destination;

be 21 or older;

complete an application and other required forms;

pass a criminal background and driving record check;

attend a training;

have a valid driver’s license and vehicle liability insurance that meets Tennessee requirements (SRN recommends 100/300/100);

and enjoy spending time with our older adult neighbors.
