Volunteer: Friday Bocce League - Court Managers/Score Keepers

We are searching for volunteers to assist our staff at the Friday Bocce Leagues from 10:00am-12:00pm. We will have at least 2 staff onsite to lead activities and answer any questions.  

Volunteer Needs & Responsibilities:

Court Manager/Score Keeper Help set-up courts Manage Courts Make sure athletes are on correct courts Keep games moving (Remind them it's their turn) Keep Score We will teach you how to score Full Rules We will provide Score Sheets Turn in score sheets at the end of the day Help clean-up courts

Daily Schedule below:

9:45 - Volunteers Arrive/Courts Assigned 10:00 - Greet Athletes and direct them to their court 10:10 - Game 1 begins (45 minute time limit) 10:55 - Game 1 ends - Bathroom Break 11:05 - Game 2 begins (45 minute time limit) 11:50 - Game 2 ends - Clean-up

Volunteer: Flag Football League - Volunteer Partners, Score Keepers, & Officials

Join our staff this fall as we host a Flag Football League for adults with Intellectual & Developmental disABILITIES on Saturday mornings at Elmington Park (3531 West End Ave) from 10:00am-12:00pm.  

Volunteer by playing alongside our MPDP athletes or volunteer from the sidelines as a score keeper or referee/official. We will provide scoring information, jerseys, whistles, scoreboards, water and anything else you need to be successful as a volunteer. 

Schedule:

10:00-10:15 Greeting & Divide into groups10:15-10:45 Practice & Drills10:45-11:00 Divide into teams/Water Break11:00-11:45 Game11:45-12:00 Wrap-up & collect jerseys

Activities are weather dependent and will be cancelled if any of the following conditions are met:

Temperature above 90*F or below 50*FRain or Forecasted Rain Chances over 50%Wet or Muddy Field Conditions
