Who We Are
Rebecca's House is a monthly opportunity for students to receive free grocery items to help supplement their food budget and promote food security. Trevecca Nazarene University is an area that is considered a "food desert", meaning, we are in an area where it is difficult to get to a grocery store and or access affordable food.
What We Do
Before University scheduled breaks, Trevecca Community Church welcomes students to receive grocery items between 3:00 and 5:00 PM. We have various items such as bread, canned goods, (limited) fruits, condiments, dry goods, fresh eggs from the Trevecca Urban Farm, and more! Come check us out, or join us for our monthly engagement activity. Previous activities have included board games, pumpkin painting, boba bar, ramen bar, emotional-support water bottle cleaning, and growing your own herbs to cook with!
