Who We Are

Created in 2004, the Belmont Enactus team (formerly Belmont SIFE) is housed in Belmont University's College of Business with the mission of enabling students to empower local, national, and international community partners to develop ethical and environmentally sustainable business models that create lasting economic and social change.

At present, the team is compromised of about 60 members and is lead by 2 Sam Walton Fellows. The Belmont Enactus team embraces the spirit of social entrepreneurship by working on projects throughout the year empowering the community partner to achieve self-sufficiency and self-sustainability. The Belmont Enactus team is working on 11 projects this year. The Belmont Enactus team won the SIFE National Exposition in 2010 and 2012 and won the first ever Enactus World Cup in 2012.

What We Do

All Belmont Enactus projects adhere to the idea of the triple bottom line: people, planet, and profit. By partnering with nonprofits and social entrepreneurs around the world, Belmont Enactus students are increasing the sustainability of these organizations and as a result are bettering the environment. Check out some of our current projects to learn more about the projects our team is currently involved in.
