Lights on Afterschool Literacy Night

The Lights on Afterschool event is a nationwide event that allows an opportunity for afterschool programs to bring awareness to the need and the role that afterschool programs play in keeping our kids not only safe but engaged in fun, educational, and unique opportunities after school.  Beech Creek Ministries Center for Imagination Lights on Afterschool event will be a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) event with a touch of Literacy. Our theme will be "Letting our Light Shine Bright!" We will offer a variety of activities for kids of all ages and their families to shine a light on the benefits of afterschool programs and the need for them in our community.  This event is open to the public and all are welcome to attend. We will have free books, food, and fun!
