The West Nashville Dream Center is hosting our annual 5K run/walk on Saturday, May 11th. Our center and the surrounding blocks are located in a food desert, a place that lacks grocery stores and traveling by foot or bus is a means of transportation. The West Nashville Dream Center’s food bank has a goal to help supplement meals and food to our neighbors on a weekly basis. In year's past, the race's sole purpose was to raise food donations for our non-perishable food bank. Now, because of our partnerships with local grocery stores, we have food donations coming in 6 days a week! Registrations for the 5K now benefit our overall ministries.
Our 5K is one of the most unique races in Nashville. We start and end the race in the neighborhood we serve off 40th Ave in West Nashville.
