The ARTS give youth a voice and a chance to communicate their emotions in a positive way. Established in 2002, Moves and Grooves Inc. is a local nonprofit youth arts and education agency that provides tools and support for students to use that voice to inspire others. Moves and Grooves Inc. is located inside 5 Metro Nashville Public schools. The agency works with 1600 youth K-12 annually by providing after-school tutoring, tutoring, music and mentoring services year-round. Their high school students have recently launched a social enterprise t-shirt line called MAGIC to promote creativity in Metro Schools.
