Alignment Nashville invites you to join them for another virtual Coffee Talk on Wednesday, August 25 from 9:00am - 10:30am. This event will be focused on the topics of math and literacy and will allow attendees the opportunity to connect with each other and to hear from diverse voices. Themes, ideas, and insights that emerge during the Coffee Talk will then be shared back out with attendees after the event.
During this Coffee Talk, attendees will be asked to share and discuss:
- Resources that are being used to support students in math and literacy outside of the classroom
- Barriers and challenges related to providing math and literacy support
- How community partners can support math and literacy outside of the school day
They are going to keep this Coffee Talk focused on community-based supports outside of the classroom, so they are not going to be discussing MNPS curriculum or classroom strategies.
Again, this event will be held virtually via Zoom and is open to you and anyone else who is interested in the topic – Please feel free to share this invitation with your colleagues and network!
RSVP HERE by Thursday, August 19!
