Environmental Wellness includes volunteering with a local environmental organization to help pick up trash, clean up a stream, plant trees, etc.
All the Needs below can count for Service Wellness OR Environmental Wellness credit! (One volunteer experience cannot count for both.)
In order to earn Environmental Wellness credit:
Participate in one of these environmental service opportunities (or something you found outside of Get Connected!).
1 volunteer experience = 10 points on Suitable
Log your hour(s) on Get Connected
Click the ADD HOURS button at the top of your Get Connected page.
Complete the form.
Once your hour(s) are approved, complete an "Environmental Wellness - Volunteer Credit __" task submission on Suitable!
Click on the Activities tab (on the left).
Under Competency filter, select "Environmental Wellness"
Type "Volunteer" in the top search bar.
Select one of the Environmental Wellness - Volunteer Credit __ tasks and complete the form. Only one credit (10 points) can be earned per volunteer experience.
You can earn all required Environmental Wellness credits by volunteering!
