Join Tennessee Environmental Council (TEC) in planting trees and perennial flowers at MLK Jr. High School in the new teacher parking lot off of Jo Johnson Ave!
What to Wear/Bring: Volunteers are asked to wear long pants and closed-toe shoes that are appropriate for digging. We will have gloves and shovels on site, but feel free to bring your own supplies. Please bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated during the event.
What to expect: Please check in at the volunteer table to sign a liability waiver. Following the opening remarks, TEC staff will provide training on properly planting and caring for trees.
