Description

Volunteers will assist in restoring the beauty, safety, and sustainability of this area by helping with trash removal throughout the encampment. By participating in this project, volunteers can assist our unhoused friends with creating a more viable living space, as they await housing support. The primary goal of this project is to restore dignity to the individuals who live there and show that we are a stronger community when we work together.

Some cleanup supplies will be provided however, volunteers are encouraged to bring their own cleaning equipment as well. We strongly encourage wearing comfortable clothes, suitable for a cleaning project.

The Metro Office of Homeless Services is Davidson County's lead agency in responding to homelessness in the Metro-Nashville area. We rely on and work closely with our community and community partners to reduce homelessness and make it rare. We are the coordinating and collaborating agency that brings together service providers and resources needed by our unhoused friends to ensure their safety, success, and housing sustainability.
