On Nov. 2nd, Pawster will support Safe Haven Family Shelter's annual event, "Hike for Safe Haven". This event is a chance to spread awareness about Pawster's mission and build community. This is a great way to do good while enjoy some festivities! We need your help to staff the table and manage the dog area activities.
Volunteers will sign up for the following shift: Nov. 2nd, 9am - 12pm
A great volunteer will be able to: Shower love on all our friends at the Hike for Safe Haven, enjoy the fun of the morning, be comfortable around dogs, talk to people who come to the Pawster table and tell them about Pawster's missionSmile!
We'll provide everything you need and make sure you are fully prepared to talk about Pawster's mission: Pawster's mission is support people in crisis by providing compassionate, temporary care for their pets. A crisis might be hospitalization, loss of housing, domestic violence, addiction treatment, natural disaster, or any other situation that leaves a pet owner temporarily unable to care for their pet. When a pet owner is in crisis, Pawster houses their dog or cat in a loving foster home until the owner is ready to be reunited.
