Team up with us to plant some trees on 51st Ave in the Nations! We'll begin with a little introduction and a planting and safety demonstration, then head out to plant some trees to shade the neighborhood's sidewalks!
Why Plant with Us? Nashville Tree Foundation plants trees across the city, inviting volunteers and community members to join together in protecting and improving Nashville's important green spaces.
Our team is partnering with the Nations Neighborhood Association and Metro Water Services to ensure these streets get all the benefits provided by trees, like shade, erosion protection, rainwater runoff reduction, and beautification. ☀️
After building a planting plan, NTF relies on volunteer groups to help us get the trees into the ground. Our planting events are a great opportunity to get outside, learn a new skill, and give back to Nashville's communities.
