Description

Celebrate Water Week in Franklin by cleaning up the Dry Branch Storm Water Basin with the Cumberland River Compact! This basin-shaped urban wetland collects and absorbs stormwater runoff, reducing flash flooding in nearby areas. Unfortunately, it does its job so well that it also collects an abundance of trash in the process. Help us give this beautiful park a refresh!

Dry Branch is in the Harpeth River watershed. Your participation in this cleanup will make a positive impact on the health of the Harpeth River, which is an important tributary to the Cumberland River.

In addition to signing up on GetConnected, please register on the Cumberland River Compact's VolunteerHub page to confirm your participation.
