This event will focus on removing litter and debris from Percy Priest Lake and the shoreline. Volunteers are welcome to bring their kayaks, paddle boards, and boats to help clean up Percy Priest Lake. Volunteers can also walk along the lake at Hamilton Creek Recreation Area Upper Marina Boat Launch. Volunteers should be comfortable in rocky terrain, on a boat, and/or in open water.
Volunteers should wear clothes and shoes they don't mind getting wet. Volunteers are also encouraged to bring water in their refillable bottles. TEC will have water on-site if volunteers run out. TEC will also provide sunscreen, bug spray, gloves, and litter grabbers.
