What will volunteers be doing at this event?
Friends of Shelby is hosting a spooky trail for the Shelby Park Community Center's annual Halloween event. Volunteers will help guide kids through the trail, as well as help with set up and tear down.
What is the community impact of this event?
This annual event hosts hundreds of children each year in a safe, community-hosted environment for some festive fun!
Accessibility:
The event will be hosted entirely outside, and you'll be asked to be on your feet during the event. There is a restroom located inside that you may use.
What should volunteers bring or wear?
Please wear comfortable shoes. I'd recommend bringing a water bottle and dressing in layers in case you get cold!
