We are searching for volunteers to assist our staff at the Saturday Basketball Leagues. We will have staff onsite to lead activities, assist with athletes & volunteers, and answer any questions.
This activity can be split into 2-3 hour shifts as needed. Please email with questions.
Volunteer Needs & Responsibilities:
- Court Manager/Score Keeper
- Help set-up courts
- Keep Score (No Experience Needed)
- Electronic Scoreboard Used
- We will teach you how to score
- Help clean-up courts
- Coaches
- Will work with MPDP Staff
- Help run practices
- Assist with Coaching in Games
- Will work with MPDP Staff
Daily Schedule below:
- 8:30am - Volunteers Arrive/Practices begin
- 9:00am - Adaptive & Wheelchair Practice/Team Practices
- 9:55am - Game 1/Team Practices
- 10:50am - Game 2/Team Practices
- 11:45am - Game 3/Team Practices
- 12:40pm - Game 4/Team Practices
- 1:35pm - Game 5/Team Practices
- 2:30pm - Game 6 (as needed)
